Na tarde desta terça-feira (19), o apresentador Geoff Keighley revelou a lista completa de indicados aos prêmios da The Game Awards 2019, evento que premia os melhores jogos do ano!
O jogo que mais foi indicado foi Death Stranding com nove aparições, seguido de Control com oito e Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice com cinco — que estão concorrendo para o prêmio de Melhor Jogo do Ano. A surpresa da categoria ficou para Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, que foi lançado no final de 2018.
Os indies Disco Elysium e Outer Wilds também foram destacados, aparecendo em categorias importantes, como Melhor Direção e Melhor Narrativa.
